How to disable them in Microsoft Word 2003.
Go to Tools.
Choose Options.
Select the View tab.
Uncheck “Animated text".
Click "OK" and your done.
How to disable them in Microsoft Word 2007.
Go to the Windows Button in the upper left corner of Microsoft Word.
Go to Word Options
Select the Advanced options menu.
Scroll a bit down and uncheck show text animation.
