If you take a look at your HD one thing you´ll notice is that there are lots of empty directories and nine out of ten times with no use at all. If you are in a cleaning mood I suggest that you take a look at the following program called RED! RED stands for ‘Remove Empty Directories’ and is a free and excellent program that can help you with this.
When scanning your hard disk it points out where are all the empty directories are and it will give you the option to delete what you don’t need. The software can also be integrated into Windows Explorer as well, very useful!!
